A West Boca Weekend Now Runs Without Downtown: What Opened Along Glades Road This Fall

Where do you get a croissant and a good coffee on a Saturday morning in west Boca without heading to Mizner Park? In October that question got three new answers. All of them opened in shopping centers along Glades Road and West Yamato Road.

On Oct. 6, Maman opened at Shadowood Square. Crema Gourmet started its grand-opening weekend on West Yamato Road on Oct. 22. And Limani Grille is now taking reservations at Town Center at Boca Raton after a delay that ran more than two years. Taken one at a time, each is a new restaurant. Taken together, they put a full day in west Boca, from breakfast through dinner, inside a few plazas that most people west of I-95 already drive past every week.

Shadowood Square Gets a Morning Anchor

Maman is the French-inspired café and bakery that started in New York City. Its founders, Elisa Marshall and Benjamin Sormonte, have been expanding the brand across South Florida. The Palm Beach Post reported that the Boca location opened Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Shadowood Square, 9959 Glades Road. It is the second Maman in Palm Beach County, after the one at CityPlace in West Palm Beach.

The location matters. Before Oct. 6, the nearest Maman for a Glades Road household was in downtown West Palm Beach. The next one isn't open yet, and it's in Delray Beach's Sundy Village, according to Boca Magazine. The same piece describes the menu as fresh-baked pastries, scratch-made breakfast and lunch, and specialty coffee and tea.

The opening also drew in the café's neighbors. Children's clothing store Tecomoabesos and jewelry store Hustle + Heart held pop-ups during the ceremony, which tells you what else is in the plaza. A pastry stop and a store errand can now happen in one parking spot.

Two Weeks Later, a Second Breakfast Option on West Yamato

Crema Gourmet fills a different morning slot. Maman is a bakery-café. Crema is an all-day breakfast diner modeled on European cafés, with a long menu that leans health-conscious. Boca Magazine lists ahi tuna toast, a Greek omelette, turkey scrambled eggs, healthy bowls, and lunch sandwiches on multigrain baguettes.

The West Boca location is at 3011 W. Yamato Road. Its grand-opening weekend started Thursday, Oct. 22. "All-day" is the useful part for planning. Maman covers breakfast and lunch. Crema covers the late-morning brunch window for anyone who doesn't want to eat at 8 a.m., so the area's two new breakfast rooms don't compete for the same hour.

Limani Grille Finally Opened at Town Center

Mornings are only part of a weekend. The piece that makes the rest of the day work came from Town Center at Boca Raton, where Limani Grille now lists its address as 6000 Glades Road and takes reservations on OpenTable. On Oct. 25, 2026, the listing showed it had been booked 87 times that day, at a price range of $31 to $50.

The timeline is why this opening stands out. Limani was first planned to open in spring 2024. In August 2026, Boca Magazine reported that construction had pushed the date back and that the restaurant was then expected "this fall." By late October, it was serving diners and taking bookings. The restaurant serves Mediterranean food, with seafood cooked Greek-style over charcoal. WhatNow identified Teli Spyropoulos as the owner.

Limani opens at 11:30 a.m. every day, and on Sundays it serves until 9 p.m., so it covers lunch and dinner after the cafés' morning hours.

Spot Address Role in the day Status as of late October 2026
Maman Shadowood Square, 9959 Glades Road Pastries, breakfast, lunch, coffee Open since Oct. 6
Crema Gourmet 3011 W. Yamato Road All-day breakfast and lunch Grand opening began Oct. 22
Limani Grille Town Center at Boca Raton, 6000 Glades Road Lunch and dinner, from 11:30 a.m. Taking reservations
Beignets & Brew Polo Club Shops, 5050 Champion Blvd., Unit D-8 Beignets, coffee, breakfast croissants Announced, no opening date

Sunday Already Had a West Boca Anchor

The new restaurants plug into a Sunday routine that was already in place. Boca Farmers Market runs every Sunday, year-round, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Parking Lot H at Boca Raton Innovation Campus, 4950 Communication Avenue. Because it runs all year, there's no season opening to wait for. A November 8 listing on Palm Beach Moms' event calendar confirms it's on through the fall.

The address has changed since the start. When the Boca Raton Tribune covered the launch in April 2025, the market was at 7900 Glades Road. Anyone who went in its first season and hasn't been back should head to the Communication Avenue lot instead.

Town Center Carries the Holiday Calendar

From November on, Town Center at Boca Raton does double duty as the dinner stop and the holiday stop. Santa Photos run Nov. 6 through Dec. 24, 2026. Weekend hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Nov. 7 and 8, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Dec. 5 and 6.

Two special sessions are on the Town Center events calendar:

  • Pet Photos with Santa on Sunday, Nov. 22, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Nordstrom Court. No reservation needed.
  • A Special Visit with Caring Santa on Dec. 6, set up for children with special needs. Reservations are required.

The pet session runs 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and Limani serves until 9 p.m. on Sundays, so dinner and the photo session can happen in the same mall on the same evening.

Planning a Sunday on the West Side

Here's one way to run Sunday, Nov. 22, west of I-95 using only places confirmed open or scheduled:

  1. 9 a.m. Boca Farmers Market at BRiC, 4950 Communication Avenue, before the 1 p.m. close.
  2. Late morning. Brunch at Crema Gourmet on West Yamato Road, or pastries and coffee at Maman at Shadowood Square.
  3. Late afternoon. Dinner at Limani Grille, which opens at 11:30 a.m. Book through OpenTable, since evening slots have been filling.
  4. 6:30 p.m. Pet Photos with Santa at the Nordstrom Court, same mall, no reservation.

Downtown still has its own calendar, and it's worth knowing when it lines up. The City of Boca Raton is running Night Markets at Sanborn Square, 72 N. Federal Highway, on Nov. 5 and Dec. 10, and the December market has a holiday theme. Both are weeknight events, so they add to a west Boca weekend instead of competing with it.

Still to Come at Polo Club Shops

Beignets & Brew is the next morning spot on the list, but it isn't open yet. The brand has announced a location at Polo Club Shops, 5050 Champion Blvd., Unit D-8, on Military Trail just north of Clint Moore Road. When TAPinto Boca Raton reported the news in December 2025, no opening date had been set. The brand's store finder still says "Coming Soon." The menu centers on New Orleans-style beignets, coffee, teas, and breakfast croissants. When it opens, it will be a third morning option, this one in north-central Boca off Military Trail.
